It is getting hot in our antechamber of barbarism, so much is clear. It is time to agree on a new strategy. Time for a reconstitution of the communist project.
To make a modest contribution to this, we have started working on a new film project. ‘Every Acre, Every Factory’ is about how we can establish a sustainable mode of production and get rid of the current one.
Comrades told us about their experiences of how the system was last challenged in the 1970s and how the state and capital managed to defeat the movement. Other comrades describe what the transition to a liberated society could look like. Workers who have been working in essential industries for decades explain what is harmful and pointless about their work and how it could be organised sensibly.
From this thread of history, theoretical anticipation and everyday experience, we ask the question anew: What has to be done?
The film is a joint production of AngryWorkers and Labournet TV.
