Forest and Factory

Nick Chavez is an engineer and, together with Phil Neel, wrote the essay ‘Forest And Factory’ in 2023. In the text, the authors describe how technological development in the 21st century could be utilised in a future post-capitalist society to provide everyone with free time. Free time that is necessary so that everyone can participate in the many decision-making processes that will be required for a society free from domination, in order to prevent a new class society from emerging.
