Ferdinand Porsche - Ingenious Engineer or War Criminal?

Documentation of a conference organised by the Rosa Luxemburg-Foundation in Lower Saxony on December 3, 2011

Ferdinand Porsche set up the Volkswagen plant in Wolfsburg in close cooperation with National Socialist government institutions. Although he is directly responsible for the brutal treatment and murder of 'foreign' (fremdvölkisch) forced laborers and their children, until today a middle school, a street, a hotel, and a drug store among others are named after him. The organisers of this conference try to change that.

The picture shows Porsche in 1944, demanding 800 more forced laborers.
