We wanted workers, we got people

A film about the exploitation of migrant construction workers in Slovenia.

The workers, most of them from Bosnia, tell us about their living and working conditions: "I didn't expect anything. We worked 10-12 hours a day. We spent the day working and the night sleeping."

"We live there in a sort of ghetto. We don't communicate with people outside of this circle. I was in Bosnia while being in Slovenia! In workers' home there were at least 3 or 4 men living
in one 110-160 sq. ft room."
